On May 12, CSC “Village Volunteers” Steve and Mary Gifford will lead us on an expedition in South Thomaston along Route 131. We will do a one-mile walk in the Georges River Land Trust’s Riverview Hayfields Preserve. Afterwards, we will visit the Finnish Heritage House and Finnish Congregational Church, where we’ll learn about the Finnish community in the Midcoast.
