Instructor Susan Morley holds a dual BFA in Studio Art and English Literature from UMass/Amherst and an MFA in painting from (MICA) Maryland Institute College of Art. Always curious to explore in depth myriad aspects of the arts, her studies have taken her multiple times to England, Italy, China, and Japan to stretch and explore creative possibilities. As a Peace Corps volunteer for three years in South America, Susan worked with Indigenous weavers in design and illustrated a children’s book written in Quechua. She formally taught studio art: drawing, design, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpture, as well as Spanish and ESL for 47 years. Susan fully embraces the practice of lifelong learning.
