Langlais Art Preserve
About this event
On Monday, October 19, from 10:30 to 2:00 p.m., the walking group will be at the Langlais Art Preserve in Cushing, managed by the Georges River Land Trust. The 90-acre sculpture park and woodland trails are on the former homestead of artist Bernard Langlais, and a dozen of his famous wooden sculptures dot the landscape. After an orientation by the program director, we will visit those massive works before walking on the 2.5-mile Woodland Trail with its installation called Forest Geometries, and end with a picnic. Participants must bring a $5 donation to the Land Trust. Limit: 20. (Janet Davis, Organizer)
