Journeys with Will Shakespeare

September 19, 2022 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing"

“I would rather hear my dog bark at a crow than a man swear he loves me.”
(Act I, Scene 1)

Beatrice is one of the most delightful characters in all of Shakespeare — certainly one of the most talkative and spirited. Quick-witted, charming, and unexpectedly melancholic, Beatrice paved the way for generations of fierce women thinkers and romantic comedy heroines.

Join us for a journey to enjoy "something" without too much "ado".
